Requirements:

To practise as an Occupational Therapist in the UK:
  1. Obtain State Registration from the Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine (CPSM) ­ should be organised a minimum of 2 months prior to arrival in the UK.
  2. Compulsory exam which takes place quarterly at Brooks University in Oxford.
  3. You must hold a degree in OT.
  4. Be registered with the HPC.
  5. It is desirable to have a minimum of 1 year’s working experience.
  6. A full police check is required before arrival in the UK if you are seeking work in paediatrics.
